Judy Simon opened Mind Body Nutrition in 2007 to meet the demand of individuals looking for expert guidance in the area of nutrition counseling. Judy is also available for public speaking engagements.
Judy uses a non diet approach in her practice. Evidence based science is integrated using a mind body style. Each client is treated as an individual, and their treatment is customized. Her advanced training and skills in medical nutrition therapy have benefitted thousands of individuals who have recovered from eating disorders, improved their likelihood to deliver a healthy baby, manage their diabetes, decreased their risk for cardiovascular disease, manage their weight by becoming an intuitive eater or improved their quality of life in so many ways. Her patients appreciate her realistic approach to their health related challenges.
Judy has over 20 years experience providing medical nutrition therapy in University and medical center environments.
Judy earned her degrees at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also holds national recognition as a Certified Health Education Specialist. Judy has completed advanced training in the area of PCOS, eating disorders and functional medicine. She is an active member of:
